Match Me — couples sync game for two phones
Match Me is built for exactly one couple: you both answer privately from your own phone, then the shared screen reveals whether you matched — no scores against each other, just one shared Sync Score you build together.
Plays like the classic newlywed-style guessing game — answer privately, then find out how well you know each other — rebuilt for two phones and a shared screen instead of index cards and a stage.
Ideal player count
Exactly 2 — one couple per room (multi-couple mode is coming).
Session length
8–15 minutes for 12 rounds.
Phone experience
Each round, your phone privately asks a question — pick your own answer, or predict what your partner picked. Nobody sees the other person’s answer until both are locked in, so there’s no peeking and no changing your pick after seeing theirs.
TV / shared-screen experience
The shared screen shows submission progress until both partners lock in, builds a short beat of suspense, then reveals both answers side by side with a host reaction — a tasteful heart-and-glow moment on a match, a playful "not this time" on a miss.
Scoring
Match Me runs three round types that mix together automatically: MATCH (you both answer the same question — matching answers score), PREDICT (one partner answers, the other guesses what they picked), and WHO’S MORE LIKELY (you both point at who fits a prompt better). A rare DOUBLE MATCH round asks both of you to answer your own preference and predict your partner’s in the same beat. Everything feeds one shared SYNC SCORE — there’s no his-score/her-score, just how in sync you were as a couple — plus streak milestones for consecutive matches or correct predictions. This is a fun, playful sync score, never a scientific compatibility rating.

How Match Me works
Every round is one of three quick formats: answer the same question privately and see if you match, predict what your partner will pick before they answer, or both point at which of you a playful prompt fits better. GameBash mixes these automatically across a 12-round session so it never feels repetitive.
Answers stay private on your own phone until both partners have locked in — then the shared screen reveals everything together with a short, satisfying beat of suspense before the verdict lands.
Sync Score, streaks, and Double Match
Matches and correct predictions build one shared Sync Score for the two of you — there’s no competing against each other, just watching the number climb together. String together enough in a row and you’ll hit a streak title like "In Sync" or "Same Wavelength."
A handful of rounds each session are Double Match rounds: you both answer your own preference and predict your partner’s at the same time, then everything reveals together for an extra-satisfying payoff.
Why it works for two
Most GameBash games are built to fill a room; Match Me is built for exactly two people, so the pacing, prompts, and reveal moments are tuned for a couple rather than padded out for a crowd that isn’t there.
The private-answer-then-reveal rhythm gives you a reason to actually talk between rounds — a good pick for a slow evening in as much as a planned date night.
