How GameBash works
Put GameBash on the big screen
Cast it to a TV, pair a laptop, or just open it on any shared screen.
Everyone joins from their phone
A short room code — no app to install, no account to create.
GameBash runs the show
Scoring, pacing, and the host are all built in. Nobody has to sit out to run the game.
TV party games everyone can play
GameBash is built for a room, not a single screen: friends, family, or a team, with up to 20 players joining from their own phones while the shared screen runs the show. There’s no dedicated host, and each game has its own style — buzzer survey rounds, anonymous social guessing, or a simultaneous word race — so a group can pick what fits the night.
Play in your language
Explore native-language game nights and occasion guides written around the moments Nepali, Desi, and Spanish-speaking households actually recognize, not one English pack translated after the fact.
Frequently asked questions
- How do you play party games on a TV with your phones?
- Open GameBash on a TV, laptop, cast display, or any shared screen, then create and start a room. Players join with the room code on their phones, which become their controllers while the shared screen shows the game.
- Do players need to download an app or create an account?
- No. GameBash runs in the browser, so players join from their phones without downloading an app or creating an account. A room code is all they need to get into the game.
- How many players can join?
- GameBash supports 2–20 players, depending on the game. Six players is a particularly easy sweet spot for a lively game night, whether everyone plays individually or splits into teams.
- What do I need — does it work without a Chromecast?
- Yes, Chromecast is not required. Use a TV with a browser, connect a laptop with HDMI, cast from a device, or simply share one screen with the room. Everyone still joins from their own phone.
- Is GameBash free?
- Yes. GameBash offers free browser party games with no purchase or subscription required. Create a room, pick a game, and invite the group with the room code.
- Which languages does GameBash support?
- GameBash offers game content in English, Nepali, Hindi, and Spanish. Check an individual game page for the language packs it currently supports.
