Privacy Policy

GameBash does not require an account. Our product analytics are counters only: they do not store player names, answers, scores, prompts, or other gameplay content.

Unique-player and funnel counts use a stable anonymous identifier stored by the browser. It deduplicates that browser or device; it does not identify a person, and clearing site data or using a private window creates a new identifier.

Coarse location (country, region, or city) is derived from request headers at the edge for aggregate statistics; the IP address itself is never stored.

Firebase Realtime Database carries the room state needed to run a live game, including room membership and gameplay submissions. That information is used to synchronize the shared screen and player phones, not for analytics or advertising.

Room recovery treats inactive rooms as expired after roughly two hours. Players should still avoid entering sensitive personal information as a display name or answer.

GameBash uses the following services to operate and understand the site:

• Firebase Realtime Database and anonymous authentication for live room state and anonymous device identifiers.
• Vercel Web Analytics for cookie-less page-view measurement.
• ElevenLabs to generate the host voice in advance. Host lines are pre-rendered; GameBash never records or uploads user audio.

Playing never requires an account. If you choose to save your progress, you can link this device to an account using Google or an emailed sign-in link. Google and Firebase Authentication handle the sign-in, and the email address is kept by Firebase Authentication only so you can sign back in.

A linked account stores the display name and emoji you choose, per-game counters (for example games played and won, rooms hosted, words found), which badge you have chosen to wear, and, if you claimed one, your Founding Player number (1–100). Badges are worked out from those counters. It never stores your answers, prompts, or other game content.

Your profile and stats are visible only to you. The badge you wear, your Founding Player number if you wear that badge, and your game-night count appear next to your name on the shared screen in rooms you join.

To delete your account and its data, email support@playgamebash.com and we will remove it within 30 days.

GameBash has no ads and does not sell personal data.
